You know how I said for my 101 in 1001 I wanted to learn how to knit for real this time?
I think I’ve got the basics down. Don’t get me wrong, I won’t be making anyone socks any time soon, but I did make a hot pad for M for the kitchen the other night. I made an entire mitered square last night while we watched the Delaware women’s baksetball team lose. [Sad.] Tonight I started working on another one, but judging by what I have so far, it’s going to be more like a place mat than a hot pad. Just saying.
I also got it in my head to make a scarf with changing colors.
I’m not crazy, right?
If the scarf wasn’t currently just a row of stitches cast on one needle, I’d show you the progress. Maybe later this week. After I’ve sufficiently panicked and changed yarn colors at least once.
[I think I’m the most boring person ever right now. And I’m up entirely too late. I NEED TO GET UP AND RUN IN THE MORNING.]
