This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for the following:
- My faith
- My family
- Our health
- Our home
- The ability to give my children more
- My friends
- Food on our table when so many others are doing without this holiday season
There is so much more, I’m sure. Things and people I’m sure I’m forgetting. But I will never forget Thanksgiving night two years ago – the day when I got to hold my baby boy for the first time in over a week.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Believe it or not, there is no pun intended in that title, because all of our wrapping paper is currently in the [full] recycling can.
The boxes are a totally different story. Our recycling was collected last Thursday, and won’t be again until next Thursday. Hopefully we can break them all down enough to find into the can.
So, funny story. Little Bear woke us up at 7:30. We were having our parents over for breakfast at 8:oo. M lept out of bed and said, “Honey, wake up. We have guests in half an hour!” Butter didn’t wake up until nearly 8:30, which will explain one of the photos.
Here is our Christmas, in pictures.
This morning, we had breakfast at Grandmom and PopPop’s house. Butter was so excited to see what PopPop had worked so hard to make for the boys!
