It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, hasn’t it?
The boys were extra adorable this week. Of course, I didn’t keep track of many of them. I was far too busy laughing!
The other night after the boys got a bath, I asked Butter to go pick PJs out. He went into his closet and shut the door. Two minutes later when he tried to come out, Little Bear kept pushing the door closed on him. They were laughing hysterically. M and I were laughing hysterically. It took a good five minutes for us all to calm down enough to read books and say our goodnights.
One day, I was hanging clothes in the boys’ bedroom. They were playing in between the loft and their bedroom, and at one point, I gently asked Butter to play in the loft while I finished putting the clothes away. He smiled sweetly at me and said, “Mommy, can’t you clean in another room right now?”
This morning, Little Bear woke me around 6:45 by shouting, “Mama!” over the monitor. I really hoped he’d calm down and read one of the books that’s in his crib, but he didn’t. Instead, he woke up Butter. Eventually, Butter got sick of hearing LB call for me. He said, “Don’t say that word again!” and then, “How about Pop?” I guess Butter didn’t want me to get up with them this morning.
