I’m SO glad I’m not the only parent I know going through this right now.
Second kids are hard, you guys.
Bear is really different from Butter. As M likes to say, Butter was his most adorable from 18 months to two years. Bear is a completely different story.
The kid throws tantrums for no reason. When he doesn’t want something, he tells you. He pushes it away [see also: his dinner the past two nights], and starts to cry. He turns on the theatrical waterworks if someone tells him no. [See also: what he did when my dad tried to keep him downstairs while visiting today.] He wants what he wants when he wants it, and if you’re not fast enough, he flips out.
This is what I deal with at least once a day.
There isn’t enough wine in the world.
