Lesson Learned, the Hard Way

My hard drive is a total loss.

I packaged up the lap top to send it off to be fixed today. There may have been a lot of tears over lost photos.

But there was also a major lesson learned. I need to back up my files. My pictures, especially. See, I don’t care much about the writing I lost. I can recover most of that out of my own head, perhaps better this time around. The majority of the work I lost was on another computer as well. But the pictures? Especially the ones of my kids? Those I can’t recover. Unless by some small miracle someone decides to have mercy on me and save some of my data if they can.

I have little faith in that, though.

Because if Bryan couldn’t do it? I don’t think anyone can.

  1. You know my “bottom of the saying”…But God, grant me the courage not to give up on what I think is right even though I think it is hopeless. Share your post in the box you put the computer in . Maybe someone at Dell can help!
