I should write more often. And I will, I swear.
We’re just so busy.
No one ever told me having a toddler would be so time consuming. Or, that when Husband got a promotion at work [Congrats honey!], things would get really hectic around our house for a few weeks.
To give you an indication of how busy we’ve been, I’m still reading that book on my sidebar. Granted, it’s a little slow in some places, but I actually like the author a lot.
You know what else no one ever told me? Toddlers grow far too quickly. My baby boy is growing up before my eyes, and I want him to slow down! Husband sat on the couch the other morning with Butter, going through a book of recipes for toddlers to make with the grown ups in their life. They went page by page, pointing out the Sesame Street characters. The only one Butter has difficulty pronouncing is Abby (He says Abba, which cracks me up), and I’m okay with that because I’m not a fan of Abby’s any way. I think the only other one can’t name on sight is Grover. He’s picking up things so fast. In other words: we’re at the point in his life where we really need to watch what we say in front of him, because he’ll probably repeat it.
