I think I learn my fate as far as Moyamoya goes on August 14.
I’d been bugging my neurologist for months to get me an appointment for MRI/MRA in July. I downloaded a new app to my phone one day and checked my upcoming appointments to find out he’d scheduled the tests on August 14, which is the same day I see him for a six month follow up. That’s fine, as I don’t really want to drive to Philadelphia twice if I don’t have to.
Yes, I’m a nervous wreck. Yes, I’m trying to figure out how I’ll get the Valium I so desperately need in order to climb into one of those machines. [I wonder if he’d file orders to put me under if I asked him…] I’m nervous about the outcome of the tests, too. I go in pretty much first thing and I don’t see my doctor until 1 p.m., so I’m hoping he’ll have had time to get the results and read them and tell me definitively, “Yes, the surgeries worked.”
Fingers crossed? That would be super cool. Thanks.
