Update on the Old Noggin.

It’s been amazing to not talk about my head hurting for the past two weeks. Oh, it has hurt – badly, in fact – but it’s been nice to have other things to talk about for the last two weeks. [Yes, I went back and checked my tagged posts.]

I met with Dr. Zager on December 14 and I scheduled my next surgery. It’s January 6, so expect a post by Rachel that day and either a few days of just picture posts, or guest bloggers. Speaking of which – anyone interested in doing a guest post? Drop me an e-mail/tweet/comment if you’re interested.

Recovery is actually going well, I think. I’ve had a few headaches, and they’re in the same general spot as before the surgery, but they’re much fewer and farther between than they were in the weeks leading up to the surgery. Is that because I’m more relaxed less stressed than before the first surgery? Is it because there is some healing/new growth going on up there? I don’t know.

What I do know is, it’s been a crazy couple of weeks. Between finally being able to take the boys to their swim lessons and school and staying home with them alone most days, I’m ready to pull my hair out. Add to that something I did this past week [all will be revealed on Tuesday] and I’m just really exhausted. I want to sleep all the time. Blues Clues automatically means nap time for me. Some days, I’m really grateful my kid loves it as much as he does.

Seriously. If you’d be interested in guest blogging [I'm looking for 3-4 people, I think], please let me know. Otherwise, you’ll have to look at pictures I pull out of the archives. And those can be pretty scary sometimes.
